first post!

after seeing markus' show off some of his really old pics, i was motivated to show off my first "real" bike.

i really really thought the bungee net was a "must have" until after a few weeks i bothered to look under it and see how badly it gouged up the tail, then could i really take it off and let the damage see the light of day?

also, i was very quick to make my own tail chop, remove the center stand, get the ubiqutous LP color-matched lower (that didn't match at all in direct light) and install a muzzy full 2-1 system and jet-kit.

i remember going to the dealership with my dad to pick one out, and my choices were a GS500 or the "ninja". i wanted a CBR600f2, but thankfully that didn't happen for at least a year and a half considering the amount of streetbike experience i had. (which was NONE:)
